Weddings

Cherrytrees specialises in intimate wedding ceremonies for 20 guests and under. Your wedding ceremony can be fully tailored to suit your requirements with weddings taking place either in the garden with the altar at the centre, or in the conservatory. A seated dinner can be served in the conservatory or on the terrace. While photos are being taken, guests can withdraw to the elegant drawing room and terrace at the main house for a drinks reception.

Terrace furnishings include contemporary dining table and chairs, chic sofas and wood braziers. Catering options can provide you with anything from a hog roast, a picnic or a 5 course dinner, all from our range of caterers. We pride ourselves in offering a very individual and personal package to suit different tastes.

To make the day extra special we also include the use of some rooms in Cherrytrees House. There are bedrooms available to change in, a drawing room for hair and make up while enjoying a glass of champagne with the bridal party. There is also a bar and snooker room available in the basement which can make for a relaxing start to the day for the rest of the wedding party.

Larger Weddings

It is possible to have larger weddings at Cherrytrees. Two pagodas are hired and added to either side of the conservatory which enhances the space and makes it all the more magical. It also ensures that in extreme heat or rain all the guests are comfortable. Up to 40 guests can enjoy a relaxing, intimate and very special day.

Cherrytrees is within easy reach of Edinburgh and Newcastle, as well as the pretty Border towns of Berwick, Kelso and Jedburgh. We are also close to the scenic beauty of the Cheviots and Northumberland National Park.
