“Cherrytrees House sits nestled in the rolling hills of the Scottish Borders, a uniquely stylish intimate wedding venue.”

Cherrytrees House

Cherrytrees House sits nestled in the rolling hills near the village of Yetholm on the Scottish/English border with uninterrupted views of the Cheviot Hills.

Amanda and James Barnes have lived at Cherrytrees House for over 10 years developing the walled garden and grounds. The estate has diversified in that time to include a small wedding venue and flower farm in addition to the already well-established sheep farm.

Although Cherrytrees House does not offer overnight accommodation, to make the day extra special there are rooms in the main house that can be used by the bridal party on the wedding day. There are luxurious bedrooms for changing into wedding finery and a stylish drawing room for bridal party hair and makeup while calming the nerves with a glass or two of bubbles. In the basement, you have access to a bar and snooker room which offers a place for the wider wedding party to relax.

James and Amanda will be on hand to look after you, and the facilities of the house, garden and estate will be open for you to explore at your leisure.

Please note that at present, due to the nature of the house and its layout, it is not suitable for anyone needing to use a wheelchair, or with mobility issues.
